Roles and responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes.
- Coordinate and manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Monitor and optimize logistics costs and efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and optimize stock rotation.
- Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics service providers.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements
- Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Optimize routing and scheduling to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
